Wag & Bristle started in 2014 in a converted South Austin bungalow, when groomer Pip Calloway got tired of rushed, scary, conveyor-belt grooming. We built the opposite: low-stress, force-free handling, real play breaks, and tubs big enough for a Great Dane to do a happy spin. Ten years and tens of thousands of zoomies later, we’re a salon, a daycare playground, and a boarding house where the only thing we rush is the treat cart.

Grooming should never be scary. We use force-free, low-stress handling, take breaks when a pet needs one, and never rush. A calm pet is a safe pet — and a happy regular for years to come.
